Position Overview

As a Shopify Web Developer at Volta Charger, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our e-commerce platform. You’ll work closely with the Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to enhance the user experience, improve site performance, and implement new features. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify, advanced web development expertise, a keen eye for design details, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for staying on top of e-commerce trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that web development aligns with the company's strategic goals and brand guidelines.
• Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and user experience across multiple devices.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of the site.
• Troubleshoot, debug and fix website issues efficiently.
• Stay proactive in exploring new web technologies and trends, particularly related to e-commerce and Shopify.
• Assist with other web development tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in web development, particularly with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience preferred).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Experience with version control (Git), debugging tools, and web performance optimization.
• Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
