Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all shortlet properties.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained, clean, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate regular inspections and timely maintenance/repairs.
  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and check-in/check-out processes.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and resolving issues.
  • Manage guest reviews and feedback, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Develop strategies to maximize property occupancy and rental income.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing based on market trends and seasonal demand.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests, including social media, listing platforms, and partnerships.
  • Coordinate with cleaning services, maintenance teams, and other vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff as needed for the day-to-day running of the properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, expenses, and inventory.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on property performance and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to short-term rentals.
  • Actively promote properties on multiple online platforms (e.g., Airbnb)
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and convert them into confirmed bookings.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing short-let or vacation rental properties.
  • Excellent knowledge of the shortlet market, especially in Lagos.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with property management software and online booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com).
  • Ability to handle emergencies and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work outside regular business hours when required.
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Guesty, Hostfully).
  • Strong digital marketing skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to maximize revenue.
