Site Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Transport and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials as needed.
• Provide general assistance to construction workers, contractors, or supervisors, including handing tools or equipment.
• Keep the construction site clean, organized, and free of hazards.
•  Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or accidents to the site supervisor.
•  Assist with maintaining records of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist in overseeing the security of tools and materials on the site.
• Operate basic machinery or equipment under supervision (if qualified and authorized).
• Work closely with site managers and workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Help inspect tools and equipment for wear and tear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an HND/BSC in construction-related courses.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in this field. 
• Ability to provide support to consultants on the project.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety standards.
• Great communication skills
