Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Smart Building and IoT Specialist at Max-Migold in Lagos. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, utilizing analytical skills to optimize systems, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and developing software applications for smart building technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IoT systems that optimize building automation, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. You will work closely with our facilities and IT teams to integrate smart solutions that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across our properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in smart building technologies, IoT systems, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Proficiency in IoT platforms, protocols (e.g., MQTT, BACnet), and cloud computing solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, data security, and systems integration.
• Familiarity with energy management, HVAC systems, lighting controls, and occupancy sensors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IoT and building automation issues.
• Strong project management skills to oversee IoT implementation and integration projects.
• Certifications in IoT, BAS, or smart building technologies are a plus.
