Job Description/Requirements
The Social Content Creator is responsible for developing, designing, and distributing engaging content across various social media platforms, with a focus on enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth. This role requires a creative individual with a deep understanding of social media trends, visual storytelling, and audience engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Business Development Team to create content that aligns with the brand’s message and goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation and Planning
o Develop, design, and edit content (e.g., images, videos, animations, stories) for social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
o Produce original ideas and creative concepts that resonate with the target audience and support brand goals.
o Plan and execute a content calendar in collaboration with the Business Development team.
2. Audience Engagement
o Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, brand-consistent manner.
o Utilize social listening tools to stay updated on trends and engage with community conversations relevant to the brand.
o Conduct polls, Q&A sessions, and interactive posts to increase engagement.
3. Trend Monitoring and Idea Generation
o Stay up to date on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
o Propose new ideas and creative approaches to expand reach and engagement on existing channels.
o Engage in E-mail marketing, including building & managing E-mail lists, and executing periodic campaigns.
4. Analytics and Reporting
o Track content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics) to understand what resonates with the audience.
o Compile monthly/quarterly reports summarizing key metrics and providing insights to inform future content strategies.
5. Collaboration, Cross-functional Communication & Business Support
o Collaborate with the Project, and Business Development design teams to align on brand voice, aesthetics, and campaign goals.
o Ensure all social content aligns with broader business initiatives and brand guidelines.
o Provide general business support.
o Design & Create presentations for business proposals.
o Operate drones & digital cameras to capture aerial footage, high quality photos and videos for various projects.
6. Content Optimization
o Optimize social media posts for SEO and brand consistency, adjusting captions, hashtags, and calls to action to increase visibility.
o Test and experiment with different content formats and posting times to identify the best performing approaches.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in content creation/design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, Capcut, Inshot, or similar.
o Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
o Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
o Basic photography and videography skills (drone operations inclusive)are a plus
