Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Manager to join our team at Aquila interiors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence, developing engaging content, and executing social media strategies to promote our furniture brand. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to enhance our brand’s visibility and drive traffic to both our online and physical stores.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Content Creation: Create visually appealing and engaging content (photos, videos, graphics, copy) that showcases our products, promotions, and the lifestyle associated with our brand.
  • Community Management: Monitor, engage, and respond to customer inquiries and comments across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines.
  • Campaigns & Promotions: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive traffic to the website and in-store visits.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance metrics, provide insights, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborations & Partnerships: Work with influencers, bloggers, and other brands to build partnerships that can increase visibility and drive sales.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and the furniture industry to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the retail or home décor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • A passion for furniture, interior design, and home décor is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and SEO strategies.


Location: Orchid Road

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000
