Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to oversee our company's social media accounts and develop engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and growth. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying updated on industry trends.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
  • Plan and schedule social media content calendars to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated social media campaigns that align with marketing and branding initiatives
  • Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
  • Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms
  • Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote our organization and brand
  • Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
  • Monitor, track, analyse, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
  • Optimize content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase engagement and loyalty
  • Stay updated on platform-specific features and updates to leverage new opportunities for engagement and growth
  • Develop and implement crisis management protocols and response strategies for social media channels

 

Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and basic video editing skills preferred.
