Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI
• Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in social media management.
• Strong understanding of the food industry and social media trends.
• Excellent content creation and writing skills.
• Proficient in social media editing and scheduling tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with graphic design and video editing software.
• Knowledge of email marketing
• Familiarity with food blogging or influencer marketing.
• A medium to high-end Android or iPhone for content creation 

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours, twice a week,with some weekend and evening work required sometimes (with transportation covered)
• Occasional meetings with the founder/owner to discuss strategy and progress.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 100,000
