As Social Media Manager at GT Powertank, youâll be the digital voice of the brand. Your role is not just about creating contentâitâs about telling the story of reliable energy solutions and how the products empower households and small businesses alike. Youâll strategize, localize, and promote the brand across various digital platforms, ensuring energy solutions are front and center in the Nigerian market and beyond.
From leading online campaigns to working closely with the team on offline marketing initiatives, your goal is to amplify GT Powertankâs presence in the energy storage industry. Youâll also keep a pulse on the market, performing research and analysis to inform strategies that will keep us ahead of the curve.
Your Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy & Promotion: You will drive the promotion of GT Powertankâs products through influential online media, focusing on platforms within the energy storage sector.
- Localized Marketing Materials: You will lead the localization efforts for all marketing materials to ensure they speak directly to the Nigerian audience, while maintaining brand consistency.
- Media & Content Management: You will collect and analyze online media resources, plan media promotions, and develop compelling content for a variety of platforms.
- Offline Event Participation: You will play a key role in organizing and executing offline marketing activities, including events co-hosted with channel partners.
- Industry Analysis: You will conduct in-depth research on the Nigerian energy storage market, keeping the company informed on policy changes, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Monthly Market Reports: You will provide monthly market analysis reports that offer insights and recommendations for marketing strategies.
You are ideal if you haveâ¦
- An undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of work experience, including 1 year of B2B marketing experience.
- Experience with multinational companies and the energy storage industry is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms, online advertisements, and digital marketing campaigns. You know how to create content that resonates and converts.
- Youâre experienced in organizing and managing offline marketing activities such as exhibitions, press conferences, and other industry events.
- A solid understanding of local market dynamics, policies, and the energy storage landscape in Nigeria. Prior experience in energy storage, photovoltaics, or electrical equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and competitors, and to compile comprehensive reports that inform strategic decisions.
- A self-starter who can work independently to develop marketing materials, plan campaigns, and execute on strategy with little oversight.
