Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager/Content Creator at Bankfields Integrated Concept Limited in Lekki, Lagos. You will be responsible for managing and creating social media content, developing content strategies, content calendars, creating original text and video content, managing posts, and responding to followers. You will manage our company’s image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals and maintain our social media presence.

We expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. A good understanding of graphic design and design interpretation is essential, as it will help you collaborate effectively with the graphics designer to produce cohesive and visually engaging content.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Communication and Writing skills
• Good understanding of graphic design and design interpretation
• Experience in developing content strategies
• Experience in social media brand management
• Strong understanding of social media trends and algorithms
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
• Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Responsibilities.

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
