LearnlyApp is looking for a committed, creative and experienced Social Media Manager with video editing skills.
This role requires someone who can develop engaging social media strategies and edit high-quality video content that resonates with our target audience.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong video editing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and identity.
Create, schedule, and manage social media posts, and monitor channels for engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages promptly.
Analyze and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to improve engagement, reach, and overall effectiveness.
Produce and edit video content for social media, including promotional videos, product demos, customer testimonials, and other engaging content that aligns with brand goals.
Work with raw footage, apply special effects, and ensure high-quality sound and visuals, while managing video projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns, brainstorm content ideas, and execute them effectively.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, video editing software, and industry best practices to keep the brand’s content fresh, innovative, and competitive.
May involve occasional travel for content creation and other related activities (if applicable).
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Video Production, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Video Editor.
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
Strong video editing skills with experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through social media and video.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
Knowledge of SEO and social media algorithms.
Experience in paid social media advertising.
