Our target market focuses on North American businesses in need of authentic and consistent content to connect with their audiences.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the client acquisition and growth strategy for TLC Branded Stories, specifically focusing on the North American market. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and ensure successful deal closure.


The ideal candidate has extensive experience in B2B sales and marketing, with a focus on content marketing solutions. You will use intelligent B2B data platforms and SME directories to identify potential clients, create outreach strategies, and engage businesses in need of branded content services. You will own the entire sales process—from lead generation and discovery calls to contract negotiation and deal closure—ensuring revenue targets are met.


This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for content marketing and a strong track record in client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: Use intelligent B2B data platforms and SME directories to identify potential clients, particularly SMEs and startups in North America.
  • Sales Outreach & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a marketing outreach plan targeting key decision-makers in prospective companies. This includes email campaigns, social media engagement, and personalized outreach strategies.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Own the full sales process—from initial outreach to scheduling discovery calls, presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Revenue Growth & Strategy: Drive the overall revenue strategy for TLC Branded Stories by meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to provide strategic insights and recommendations for service improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure that client expectations are met and that content solutions align with client needs.
Key Qualifications:


  • Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within content marketing, digital marketing, or media industries.
  • Client Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated success in identifying and securing clients through lead generation and outreach strategies.
  • Familiarity with Intelligent Data Tools: Strong knowledge of B2B platforms, lead generation software, and SME directories for client identification and engagement.
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate confidently in English.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies with a focus on long-term growth and relationship-building.
  • Goal-Oriented: Strong sense of ownership with a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Digital Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media tools to execute outreach campaigns.
  • Remote Work Capability: Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to manage time zones, online meetings, and digital collaboration tools effectively.
