Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Create a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the Academy's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin, and TikTok.
• Develop and curate high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and captions.
• Plan, schedule, and publish content in advance using a content calendar.
• Respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media in a timely and professional manner.
• Taking deliberate effort to convert social media leads to customers
• Implement strategies to grow our online community, including contests, giveaways, and influencer partnerships.
• Track and analyze social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic.
• Work closely with the marketing, communications, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
• Stay current with the latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the sports industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You must have proven work experience in Football industry, sports or  NGO
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Ability to create high-quality, engaging content
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social

Remuneration: NGN 100,000
