We are seeking a skilled Software Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for our software products, ensuring that both internal teams and end-users can effectively understand and utilize our solutions.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user manuals, technical specifications, API documentation, and other software-related documents
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather accurate information about product features and functionalities
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
- Create and update online help systems, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles
- Ensure consistency in documentation style, format, and content across all materials
- Participate in the software development lifecycle to ensure timely creation and updates of documentation
- Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides
- Gather user feedback to continually improve documentation quality and usability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software documentation or technical writing
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Confluence)
- Familiarity with markup languages (e.g., HTML, XML, Markdown)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them simply
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience with API documentation and developer-focused content
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with graphics tools for creating diagrams and screenshots
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles
