About Trim:

Trim is a DeFi app in development on the Solana blockchain, designed to empower local personal care workers. We aim to bridge financial gaps in the gig economy, allowing professionals in this sector to thrive with the support of decentralized finance solutions. As a founding software engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Trim, building our prototype from the ground up with the potential for profound social impact.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded software engineer passionate about blockchain technology and financial inclusion. This role is an opportunity to co-create and develop the Trim platform as the technical lead. You’ll be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying the prototype on Solana, with a focus on scalability, security, and an optimized user experience for our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical development of the Trim prototype, including backend and smart contract development on Solana.

Collaborate closely with the founder to design technical architecture and product features that meet the needs of our user base.

Develop secure, efficient smart contracts and ensure smooth integration within the Trim app.

Continuously improve the application, addressing scalability and performance as the product evolves.

Contribute to Trim’s vision and strategic direction as a co-creator and technical lead.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Rust (preferred for Solana blockchain development) and experience with smart contract development.

Strong understanding of Solana or other blockchain ecosystems, particularly in decentralized finance (DeFi).

Prior experience in full-stack development, with knowledge of front-end and back-end systems.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to work in an early-stage startup environment.

Passion for DeFi, social impact, and financial empowerment for underserved communities.
