Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our engineering teams. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of complex, high-quality products while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of talented engineers, overseeing the development of complex products, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and mentor high-performing engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Define and execute the engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with product and business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle for complex mobile and web applications, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Implement and optimize engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements.
- Identify skill gaps, provide growth opportunities, and support career development for team members.
- Promote and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project success.
- Track and report on key performance metrics for engineering teams and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams and delivering complex mobile and web applications.
- Strong technical background in software development, with expertise in modern technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated success in scaling engineering teams and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and system scalability.
