Job Summary
The Solar Engineer is responsible for understanding client/customer requirements at an operational level, conducting site visits, assessing site feasibility, designing solar systems, and overseeing the complete execution of solar projects. This includes rooftop and ground-mounted installations, electrical equipment integration, and technical documentation. The role requires a strong knowledge of solar design software and industry standards, as well as the ability to provide comprehensive service support.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operational level understanding of the requirement of the client/customer, site visits, Site feasibility & solar systems design and complete execution.
- Able to check site feasibility and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability.
- Designing of arrangements of the solar panels for rooftop & ground mounted & other various supported electrical equipment & selection of cables for plant including layouts & schematic diagrams and calculation of technical sizing, BOQ/BOM.
- Drawing/Document submission/approvals, scheduling, Factory inspections, proving the guaranteed prepared a generalized check list for review of all standard.
- End to end execution of solar projects (Rooftop & Ground Mounted) and AMC / Service Support.
- Having knowledge of IS & specifications needed for the designing and execution of solar projects.
- Having knowledge of PV SYST or similar software and should have good knowledge for conducting all essential tests required in entire solar project execution
- Maintaining of files and documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists.
- To provide with up-to-date weekly / fortnightly status report.
- Develop MIS and ability to analyze market data.
- Any additional roles as may be developed for the growth and development of Koolboks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in solar project design and execution.
- Proficiency in PV SYST or similar design software
- Strong knowledge of IS and industry specifications for solar projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.
- Knowledge of the latest market trends and technological advancements in solar energy.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 150,000 Net
