Solar Panel Installer

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures, following design specifications.
• Assess and prepare installation sites to ensure proper placement and safety.
• Connect panels to inverters and electrical systems for energy conversion.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local regulations.
• Test installed systems for efficiency and performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and system performance data.
• Educate clients on system operation and basic maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with team members and project managers to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• OND/HND or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Practical experience in solar installation or a related technical role.
• Experience in access control and smart lock installations is a plus. 
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar technologies.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in solar installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
