As part of our major project delivery in Abuja, Nigeria, we are looking for a capable Sourcing Manager to help us deliver our exciting project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager or Site Supervisor looking to transition into procurement while expanding their expertise in modular technology and international standards. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing procurement operations, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies. You will ensure the ethical sourcing of components, goods, and services that meet the high standards of our projects. This role is ideal for someone with at least 10 years of on-site experience in construction, ready to transition into procurement.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with local suppliers, with a focus on the Abuja market.
- Lead procurement efforts, ensuring competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Source construction materials and services while managing cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets.
- Oversee procurement compliance.
- Provide practical, hands-on solutions to procurement challenges, working closely with the project and finance teams.
- Ensure ethical sourcing practices and compliance with company policies.
- Use MS Excel and MS Project for procurement planning and tracking.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of on-site experience in construction management or supervision in the Nigerian market.
- Extensive knowledge of construction suppliers in the Abuja area.
- Proven experience in procurement management within the Nigerian construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favourable terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with moderate to strong English proficiency.
- Familiarity with government projects and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project.
