This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Sous Chef at Vanilla Abuja. The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of dishes, contributing creative input to menu development, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver high-quality meals.
- Culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and menu development
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel
- Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
