Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and designing menus.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Assist in developing and enforcing kitchen policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and cost control.
- Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Handle customer feedback and make improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong cooking and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
