Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish language courses to students, focusing on both spoken and written aspects.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' learning levels and goals.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to measure student progress.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student participation.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, including interactive activities, to engage students and make learning enjoyable.
- Encourage students to practice speaking Spanish through conversational practice and real-life scenarios.
- Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and offer additional support as needed.
- Organize cultural activities or events to help students gain a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking countries.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational trends in foreign language instruction.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSc. degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience teaching Spanish at a primary, secondary, or tertiary level.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop lesson plans, exams, and assignments.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and educational technology.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with students of all levels.
- Knowledge of Spanish culture and the ability to incorporate cultural aspects into the curriculum.
- Teaching certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed.
Remuneration: NGN 60,000 - NGN 70,000
