Sports Teacher/Swimming Coach

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement engaging, safe, and effective physical education programs, with a focus on swimming and other sports.
• Organize and coach school sports teams, ensuring participation in competitions and fostering teamwork.
• Instruct students in swimming techniques, water safety, and sportsmanship.
• Work closely with the school leadership to integrate sports activities into the broader educational goals.
• Ensure that students meet the physical education requirements of the British curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
• Foster students’ enthusiasm for physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student well-being and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Professional certification in swimming instruction or coaching (e.g., ASA, NGB).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching or coaching in an international school setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the British curriculum is an advantage.
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• A passion for working with young people and developing their physical and teamwork skills.
