Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of goods and supplies, ensuring they meet quality and quantity specifications.
  • Organize and maintain the storage of materials, supplies, and equipment in designated areas.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of goods to prevent spoilage, damage, or misplacement.
  • Keep accurate inventory records using the inventory management system, regularly updating stock levels.
  • Monitor stock levels and issue materials to departments as needed, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the procurement department for stock replenishment based on operational needs.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure that perishable items are used within their expiration dates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and storage areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues or shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure a timely supply of goods.



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a storekeeper or in a related role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and storage procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle stock-related discrepancies.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems or software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with different departments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Certification or training in inventory or store management.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations for handling specific materials.
