Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the supermarket.
• Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and promotions.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are properly labeled.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate customer purchasing decisions.
• Promote and cross-sell products to meet sales targets.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service, especially during peak times.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and services offered by the supermarket.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of the retail sales process and consumer behavior principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory stocking procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
