Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality male and female outfits, including corset dresses, dinner dresses, blazers, senators, and party dresses, with attention to detail.
- Design and produce stylish, ready-to-wear outfits that align with the fashion house's brand standards.
- Draft, cut, and sew patterns to meet design specifications and client measurements.
- Conduct fittings with clients and make precise alterations to ensure a perfect fit.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship by ensuring finished garments are neat, durable, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for client orders and new collections.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure consistency and innovation in designs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tailoring both male and female outfits, including specialty designs like corsets, senators, and party dresses.
- Proficiency in pattern drafting, sewing, and finishing techniques.
- Creativity and an eye for detail in garment design and execution.
- Ability to use modern tailoring equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Close proximity to GRA, Port Harcourt, is an added advantage.
