Job Summary
The Technical Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level strategic and analytical support to the Chief Executive Officer in driving the bank’s vision and strategy. The role requires a highly experienced banker with a deep understanding of credit and financial analysis, business strategy, and corporate and commercial banking.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Provide high-level support to the CEO in formulating and implementing business strategies that align with the bank’s overall goals.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth credit and financial analysis for large-scale corporate and commercial banking clients. Provide actionable insights to assist the CEO in making sound investment and lending decisions.
- Business Strategy Development: Assist in the development of long-term business strategies by evaluating current market conditions, analyzing industry trends, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Credit Management: Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations on large credit proposals and transactions, ensuring compliance with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.
- Corporate & Commercial Banking: Support the CEO in corporate and commercial banking activities by evaluating new business opportunities, assisting with high-level client negotiations, and ensuring key relationships are maintained.
- Executive Decision Support: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and analyses for the CEO to support critical decision-making in various business units.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with other senior executives, department heads, and external stakeholders to gather relevant data, facilitate communication, and drive key initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all strategic activities are compliant with banking regulations and internal policies.
- CEO Representation: Attend high-level meetings and represent the CEO in internal and external engagements as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- An MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in the banking industry, with significant exposure to corporate and commercial banking
- Extensive experience in credit and financial analysis, risk management, and business strategy
Grade: Senior Banking Officer-Deputy Manager
Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate and commercial banking products and services.
- Advanced proficiency in credit management, risk assessment, and financial statement analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficient in banking software, financial tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
