Job Description/Requirements
- Provide daily IT support for hotel operations, ensuring smooth functionality for over 200 internet users, including monitoring workstations and optimizing bandwidth utilization.
- Develop, implement, and monitor security protocols to safeguard the hotel's IT systems, performing regular diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to prevent and address potential threats.
- Design and oversee the installation and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, including CCTV systems, radio routers, and access points, to ensure reliable connectivity and security across the property.
- Stay updated on emerging IT trends and recommend technological advancements to enhance the hotel's operational efficiency and guest experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, security systems, and hardware.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues.
- Familiarity with bandwidth management and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Up-to-date knowledge of IT trends and best practices.
- Proficiency in Mikrotik Winbox for router configuration and network troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g.Biodux) is a plus.
