Technical Manager

• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development, system architecture, and project management.
• Identify and implement new technologies and resources to accomplish unit tasks within budget constraints.
• Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill open positions within the technology department.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects.
• Collaborate with senior management to align technical initiatives with business goals.
• Manage the technical department's budget and resources effectively, fostering a culture of innovation and cost-consciousness.
• Manage the full life cycle of technology projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, team performance, and technical achievements to senior management.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external clients.
• Understand and address client needs, providing solutions that meet their technological and business objectives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and milestones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field. (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum 10 years of information technology experience, including 5 years managing teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
• Professional Project Management certification from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering successful technology projects.
• Solid experience in Software Development, Networking & Network Infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Consulting experience with the ability to engage and manage client relationships.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and profit & loss management.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining standards, policies, and operational effectiveness of information technology staff.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
