We are seeking to hire a Technical Officer to help provide technical advice and support to clients and staff to ensure effective solutions to project needs.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical advice and support to clients and staff to ensure effective solutions to project needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality guidelines, health and safety laws, and building regulations.
  • Preparing detailed reports for internal use, client updates, and compliance purposes to maintain clear and accurate project documentation.
  • Assisting in the development, structuring, and packaging of proposals to meet client and organizational requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up activities with clients to track project status, address queries, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Attending and contributing to client meetings to provide insights, technical input, and progress updates.
  • Overseeing the complete packaging of documents and information required for government bidding processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and project requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records for projects, proposals, and compliance documentation.
  • Assisting with cost estimations and budget planning for projects, aligning resources and financial planning to project goals.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Contributing to the development of new strategies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on tech-related projects to drive project success.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining equipment to meet technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Providing up-to-date inventory information to support project planning and resource allocation.
  • Providing information and recommendations for purchasing equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Offering accurate costing information to support budget planning and resource management


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a technical officer or similar role
  • HND/BSc. in a relevant course of study.
