Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support via email, phone, and ticket system
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Support internal staff with technical issues
- Handle hosting-related issues
- Maintain support documentation
- Guide users through technical processes
- Create automation scripts for repetitive tasks
- Maintain and update WordPress websites
- Develop small tools and utilities as needed
- Debug and fix minor code issues
- Implement basic integrations
- Set up monitoring systems
Requirements:
- Associate/Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Technical certifications are a plus
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Python for automation
- JavaScript fundamentals
- WordPress development and management
- Basic cloud computing knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Linux server administration basics
- Database basics (MySQL preferred)
- Networking fundamentals
- Ability to write and maintain documentation
- 2+ years in technical support
- Basic experience with scripting/coding
- Experience with WordPress
- Understanding of web technologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
