The Technical/Assurance Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all technical deliverables and processes meet established quality, compliance, and performance standards. This role combines deep technical expertise with a strong focus on assurance, providing oversight across projects to mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in a specific technical domain (e.g., engineering, IT, construction, systems).
  • Support project teams with technical advice, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and industry standards.


Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks and plans.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and deliverables to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, or reviews to ensure technical outputs meet specifications and regulatory requirements.


Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify technical risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
  • Support root cause analysis and resolution of non-conformances or failures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, project managers, and assurance/compliance stakeholders.
  • Communicate assurance requirements and ensure understanding across all relevant functions.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management on assurance activities and findings.


Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and assurance practices.
  • Support lessons-learned processes and apply them to future projects.


Requirements:

  •  5 years experience
  • Degree in a related field
