Responsibilities:

Diagnostic and Repair Functions:

• Diagnose problems: Identify issues with vehicles using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform repairs: Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements.

Inspection and Testing Functions:

• Inspect vehicles: Inspect vehicles to identify potential problems or worn-out parts.
• Test systems: Test vehicle systems, such as engine performance, transmission, and brakes.
• Use diagnostic equipment: Use specialized diagnostic equipment, such as scan tools and multimeters.

Communication and Documentation Functions:

• Communicate with customers: Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers, provide estimates, and obtain approval for work.
• Document repairs: Document repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and test results.
• Maintain records: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history.

Safety and Quality Control Functions;

• Follow safety procedures: Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure quality work: Ensure that repairs meet quality standards and are completed efficiently.
• Participate in quality control: Participate in quality control processes to identify areas for improvement.

Other Functions:

• Stay updated on new technologies: Stay current with new vehicle technologies, tools, and techniques.
• Participate in training: Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other technicians: Collaborate with other technicians to share knowledge, solve problems, and improve processes

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Minimum of HND
