Job Summary
The Technology Partnership Officer (TPO) will be key in fostering strategic collaborations with organizations to drive innovation and technology transfer. The candidate will identify and cultivate partnerships with industry, academia, government, and other stakeholders to facilitate research collaboration, technology commercialization etc.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative and technical tasks to facilitate innovation and commercialization of technologies and/or products to benefit society.
- Conduct surveys to know the innovation needs of organizations and the local community to provide feedback that steers the various innovation activities in the university
- Coordinate exhibitions of innovative products at various events
- Research grant opportunities and help in drafting applications.
- Promoting the organization's capabilities, value propositions, and licensing portfolio to the industry
- Advancement of innovative technologies from the university through market adoption via industry collaboration, access to translational funds, licensing, or startup formation.
- Drive industry engagement and partnerships
- Arrange business meetings with prospective partners
- Work with the legal team to translate partnership deals into contracts and MoUs
- Provide useful feedback on industry trends around the innovation ecosystem to the management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or sciences is preferred
- Exceptional command of English and strong communication skills At least one year of relevant experience working in driving partnerships
- A master’s degree in any field is an added advantage
- Relevant certifications will be an added advantage
