TelMD is providing easy healthcare access in Nigeria through innovative telemedicine solutions. We're seeking experienced, licensed physicians to join our team of remote telemedicine providers.

Job Summary:

We're looking for board-certified, compassionate, and tech-savvy physicians to provide high-quality, patient-centered care via our telemedicine platform. As a remote Telemedicine Physician, you'll diagnose, treat, and manage patients remotely, collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct virtual consultations via video conferencing

2. Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and conditions

3. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications

4. Order and interpret lab tests and imaging studies

5. Collaborate with patients' specialists

6. Maintain accurate, detailed medical records

7. Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives

8. Adhere to Nigerian medical standards, guidelines, and regulations

Requirements:

1. MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution

2. Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria (MDCN registration)

3. Board certification in relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics)

4. At least 2 years of post-graduation experience

5. Excellent communication, empathy, and patient care skills

6. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and digital health tools

7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

8. Reliable internet connection and computer equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)

2. Familiarity with Nigerian healthcare systems and regulations

3. Certification in telemedicine or digital health(preferable but not a requirement)

4. Previous experience in remote or telemedicine settings
