Job Description/Requirements

JC International (JCI), a leader in training, inspection, asset integrity maintenance, and pipeline & process services within the oil and gas, marine, and construction industries, is seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Coordinator to manage the procurement activities of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services, ensuring efficient procurement processes, and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
  • Sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and timelines.
  • Conduct market research to identify price trends and analyze cost structures.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and track savings against budgets.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed about geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors that could impact procurement.

Academic Qualification


·        B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain or other related courses.

·        Professional certification in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.      

·        Minimum of 10 years’ experience of which 4 years in similar position.

·        Effective use of Microsoft office.

·        Knowledgeable in data management

·        Budget preparation experience.

·        Highly skilled in negotiation and pricing including business development

·        Excellent communication skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
