Position Overview:

Housing TV Africa is seeking a talented and dedicated TV Anchor/TV Reporter to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about real estate, have a strong on-air presence, and possess excellent journalism skills. This is a full-time, onsite position located in our Abuja office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anchor live news broadcasts and deliver compelling news segments focused on the housing and real estate sector.
• Report on breaking news, conduct in-depth interviews with industry leaders, and cover significant events in the real estate market.
• Research, write, and present news stories that captivate and inform our audience.
• Work closely with producers and the editorial team to develop story ideas and ensure high-quality, accurate reporting.
• Build and maintain a strong on-camera presence, connecting with viewers through engaging and insightful content.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in the housing and real estate sector, both regionally and globally.
• Participate in the production of special reports, documentaries, and other in-depth features.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a TV Anchor or Reporter, ideally within the real estate or housing sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English.
• Strong on-camera presence and the ability to convey complex information in an engaging manner.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A deep interest in the housing and real estate industry.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by news coverage.
