Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health assessments and inspections of poultry stock to identify signs of illness or abnormal behavior.
- Develop and implement vaccination schedules and biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
- Diagnose and treat poultry diseases, including prescribing medications and recommending appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor feed and nutrition programs to ensure optimal poultry health and productivity.
- Provide training and guidance to farm staff on animal health, welfare, and biosecurity practices.
- Collaborate with farm management to develop and implement health-related policies and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary and animal welfare regulations.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest poultry health advancements and practices.
- Provide consultations to poultry farmers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Vet doctor
- BSc. Degree is required
