Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling mobile applications.
  • Strong technical background in mobile technologies, including iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks. Fullstack Developer skills is a plus!
  • Required extensive skills on React Native, & Expo.
  • Additional skills in Jest, React Native Testing Library, & BrowserStack are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices for mobile experiences.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in mobile analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of mobile app engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and Agile development.
  • Accountable for upholding the company brand promise of resolving live mobile app-related issues within 24 hours. 
  • Oversee the full development lifecycle of mobile applications, from design and development to deployment and post-launch maintenance, across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical challenges, troubleshooting critical issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Ensure code quality and performance within the mobile app team by leading daily swarms and conducting task-based quality assurance.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to refine user stories, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business goals before assignment to the team.
  • Manage team growth, participating in recruitment, onboarding, and employee reviews of mobile app engineers.
  • Lead the mobile app technical innovation by staying updated on the latest mobile trends, tools, and frameworks, and ensuring the team adopts relevant advancements.
