Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Principal in implementing high-quality academic programs aligned with national and international standards.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching methods to ensure effective delivery of learning.
- Support staff recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Oversee student assessments and data-driven instructional improvements.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including schedules, attendance, and administrative tasks.
- Supervise school facilities, including the maintenance of classrooms, the school garden, and other infrastructure.
- Oversee the supervision and performance of caregivers and support staff.
- Enforce school policies, procedures, and codes of conduct to maintain discipline and order.
- Handle student behavioral issues with consistency and fairness, ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to address student challenges proactively.
- Oversee the management of school supplies, textbooks, and teaching resources.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure effective distribution of supplies while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Address operational challenges and unexpected situations with innovative solutions.
- Resolve conflicts among students, staff, or parents with tact and professionalism.
- Adapt to evolving school needs while maintaining stability and efficiency.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on school activities.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and community engagements when needed.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field; a relevant certification in school leadership is an advantage.
- At least 8 years of experience in educational leadership, with at least 3 years in a vice principal or similar administrative role.
- Proven ability to manage school operations and enforce school policies.
- Experience in staff supervision, budgeting, and school resource management.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Financial management and budgeting proficiency.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced school environment.
