Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Edit recorded footage into smooth, well-paced, and visually appealing final versions.
- Work closely with cinematographers, content writers, and team leads to bring projects to life.
- Edit various types of content, including YouTube videos, ads, interviews, and short films.
- Ensure proper timing, transitions, sound balancing, and visual flow in all edits.
- Apply basic color grading and motion graphics when necessary.
- Organize and manage video files efficiently to streamline the editing process.
- Accept and implement feedback to refine edits and improve overall quality.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong sense of timing, transitions, sound balancing, and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and motion graphics (an advantage).
- Creativity, keen attention to detail, and ability to take feedback constructively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proximity to Alimosho LGA is most preferred
