Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for various platforms, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Incorporate music, graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.
• Ensure seamless transitions, continuity, and alignment with the creative vision.
• Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to meet project objectives.
• Translate scripts, storyboards, or creative briefs into compelling visual content.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain brand consistency and storytelling style.
• Organize and archive video assets systematically for future use.
• Manage project timelines and ensure all deliverables meet deadlines.
• Optimize videos for different formats and platforms (e.g., social media, websites, advertisements).
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure content meets technical and creative standards.
• Address feedback promptly and refine content as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or it's equivalent 
• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Strong storytelling and visual design abilities.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive attitude and adaptability to creative feedback.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines when necessary.
