VP, Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Design and oversee scalable, secure, and reliable system architectures.
• Drive innovation in product design and development for BNPL and clean energy financing platforms.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, with the strategic aim of fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of technical projects.
• Implement best practices to safeguard digital platforms and customer data.
• Continuously optimize technology stacks to meet evolving business needs.
• Partner with product and business teams to ensure alignment between technology and organizational goals.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance operations and customer experience.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of all products and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 – 10 years experience, with a track record of high performance in high-growth organizations.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable fintech solutions.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Remuneration: NGN 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 Monthly Net
