Responsibilities:
Guest care
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with service standards.
- Anticipate and address guest needs to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Operational Tasks
- Set up and clear tables efficiently before, during, and after service.
- Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary items.
- Handle payment transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, or guest feedback promptly to relevant team members.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain a smooth workflow.
Upselling and Product Knowledge
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings.
- Suggest specials, promotions, or recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
