Job Summary
This is a full-time onsite role for the Warehouse & Inventory Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of multiple warehouse operations, including managing inventory levels, organizing storages, supervising staff, ensuring timely shipping and receiving, implementing safety protocols, maintaining efficient workflow within the warehouse, requiring strong leadership, communication, and problem- solving skills to maintain smooth operations and accurate inventory control.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Accurately receive, store, and track incoming agricultural produce like RCN, Cocoa Beans, rice paddy, and others.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise stock levels.
- Monitor product quality and expiration dates, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization through efficient storage methods.
Export Operations:
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to fulfill export orders accurately and timely.
- Prepare export documentation including shipping manifests, customs declarations, and phytosanitary certificates.
- Ensure compliance with international export regulations, including quality standards and phytosanitary requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange shipping and transportation logistics.
Warehouse Management:
- Supervise warehouse staff, including labourers, pickers, and packers, to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to streamline operations, including order fulfillment, picking, and packing protocols.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the warehouse to maintain product integrity.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular quality checks on stored agricultural products to identify any potential quality issues.
- Implement measures to prevent contamination and maintain proper storage conditions.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address any quality concerns.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports on warehouse performance metrics, including inventory levels, shipping times, and operational efficiency.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
- At least 4 years Prior experience in warehouse management, ideally with previous supervisory responsibilities
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of export regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a warehouse team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Location: Ekiti
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 300,000
