Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory & Logistics Management:
- Manage and track warehouse goods to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Familiarize with local logistics methods and coordinate transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Record and maintain vehicle information related to warehouse operations.
Warehouse Organization & Maintenance:
- Classify and properly store incoming goods for easy retrieval.
- Arrange unloading personnel and ensure smooth handling of goods.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
Quality Control & Supervision:
- Conduct cargo sampling and inspections to ensure product quality.
- Supervise warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and efficiency.
- Improve warehouse operation speed and workflow.
Customer & Business Development:
- Identify and reach out to potential customers who require warehousing services.
- Build relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize operations.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of local logistics and distribution methods.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate warehouse staff effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and optimize warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
