Warehouse Officer

Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inspection:

• Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.
• Inspect incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies.
• Prepare receiving documentation & update inventory records accordingly.

Inventory Management:

• Store and retrieve inventory accurately and efficiently using appropriate storage methods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and shipping instructions.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure proper handling of goods.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of containers.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Operate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles (e.g., FIFO, LIFO) and techniques.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems).
• Experience with forklift operation and other material-handling equipment is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
