Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Wealth Manager for our client, a leading insurance company dedicated to providing comprehensive financial solutions. As a Wealth Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored wealth management services to high-net-worth clients, ensuring their financial goals are met with precision and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
· Achieve the assigned individual AUM target for the period.
· Advising clients on financial products and services
· Review clients' portfolio and plans regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, environmental concerns, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment.
· Managing Investment and Assets.
· Implement financial recommendations and assist with plan implementation.
· Contact clients periodically to determine any changes in their financial status.
· Investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with client’s financial plan.
· Provide financial advisory to high net-worth clients on the ideal asset allocation structure.
· Ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are strictly observed and followed.
· Monitor capital market trends/development and provide relevant market insight to support the investment decision making process.
· Optimize the use of technological tools to improve investment management process and operational efficiency.
· Act as a good ambassador of the organization through proper conduct always to portray the organization in good light.
· Utilize tactical negotiation skills to improve funding cost of the fixed income portfolio and other funds under management.
· Develop a weekly strategic prospecting plan
· Any additional task as required
Academic Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Marketing, or related fields
- Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional qualification/membership from a reputable institution is an added advantage
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in a similar role within the asset management industry is highly desirable
- Strong business acumen to be able to recognize and interpret commercial opportunities.
- Strategic thinker and ability to analyse and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to influence various key stakeholders in referring and cross-offering potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth.
- Highly agile in learning, adapting to an ever-changing business environment, and with strong ability to cope with fast, dynamic pace.
