Web Designer

Responsibilities:

• Design and create visually appealing websites and web applications with a focus on user experience (UX).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Translate wireframes and mockups into fully functional web pages, ensuring that they are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
• Maintain and update websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, error-free, and optimized for performance.
• Create and manage graphic elements, icons, and images for websites.
• Stay up-to-date with current design trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and development.
• Ensure designs are consistent with the brand’s identity and vision.
• Optimize websites for SEO best practices and loading speed.
• Test websites across browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance and usability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to implement designs and resolve any design and functionality-related issues.

Requirements:

• Experience with UX/UI design.
• Knowledge of animation tools or front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Experience in creating prototypes or wireframes.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• 1-2 years of proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio of web design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of web development frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A degree/Diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
