Website Designer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop aesthetically pleasing and functional website layouts.
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand website requirements and project goals.
• Ensure websites are responsive and accessible across various devices and browsers.
• Optimize website performance, including loading speed and usability.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design concepts.
• Develop and implement user-friendly navigation and interface elements.
• Test websites for functionality, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality assurance.
• Stay updated on the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
• Incorporate SEO principles into website design for improved search rankings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Website Designer with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
• Proficiency in web design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, or Sketch.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and team members.
